Career History

I started by career in financial services at the age of 21 with The Pearl Assurance for a period of 14 years. I then joined Barclay’s life (which became Barclays Financial Planning) until May 2011 while working here I worked both in the personal and corporate financial areas. I have now joined Carterdawes to work as an Independent Financial Advisor in order to extend my services to my clients, some of which have been with me for 30 years.

Community Work

I have always played sport, mainly rugby and cricket playing for teams within my home town of Bideford. I am currently involved with junior rugby at Bideford RFC which I am chairman, coach and chief bottle washer for the Junior’s and have been for the past 8 years.

I am a strong believer that children should have the opportunities to take part in sport of their choice irrespective of their ability and play just for their enjoyment.

Hobbies, Interests and Family

I am married with two teenage boys which keeps me busy.

I am a mad rugby fan and played rugby and cricket for over 30 years.
